What is Google Apps at PSG Tech?

Google Apps is a package of online applications that facilitates efficient communication and good collaboration amongst students and teaching staff at PSG Tech. The cornerstone of Google Apps is Gmail, Google’s web-based email program, which integrates with Google Docs, for creating and sharing documents, and Google Calendar, for coordinating schedules.

Now you can have Google powered email, calendar, document-sharing and IM, all from your [you]@gapps.psgtech.ac.in account.

Mail

Use your PSG Mail account to access Google's advanced email interface. Comes with a powerful spam filter and 7 gigabytes of storage (so you may never have to delete a message again) and an inbox which organizes itself.

Calendar

Organize your life - keep a calendar for yourself, share calendars with your friends and subscribe to public calendars to stay on top of events on campus.

Docs

Create and Share Documents, Spreadsheets, and Presentations online, and download them to your favorite desktop applications. Great for collaboration projects, in and out of class.

Talk

IM with friends and classmates, or make free voice calls to anyone else with Google Talk, anywhere in the world.
